1. Prepare
Choose a contract, equip a frame and modules, assign consumables, and decide which supplies are worth risking.
Mechshire Saga is a pixel-art action platformer built around compact, dangerous expeditions. Accept a contract, explore optional routes, gather an unsecured haul, defeat the objective, and reach recall before the realm takes it back.
Choose a contract, equip a frame and modules, assign consumables, and decide which supplies are worth risking.
Push through the main path or climb into optional upper routes where supply caches are more likely to appear.
Complete the contract and reach recall. Only a successful extraction secures the expedition haul.
Refine materials, restore camp facilities, train attributes, craft equipment, and chart the next realm.
Renown comes from objectives and successful extraction, not from farming enemies. Each contract must be completed in one expedition.
Upper platforms and longer paths carry more danger and a better chance of supply caches containing field consumables.
The first completion grants the full contract reward and first-clear Renown. Repeats keep normal haul but pay only a small Gold stipend.
The standalone tutorial teaches movement, combat, loot, and recall. After that, the campaign opens with two Mirakam routes and the camp becomes your long-term base.
Everything collected during the expedition is held in the temporary haul. Cache supplies may be used immediately, but unconsumed cache items only join permanent inventory after extraction.
Camp stock, equipment progression, character levels, and research are not stripped by a failed run.
Clear enough space to retreat. Realm enemies have different pressure patterns, and elites can appear with gold tint and stronger stats.
Upper platforms are deliberately more rewarding and are the best place to search for food, bandages, potions, and extra materials.
Contract progress is expedition-local. Leaving early or dying resets the objective for the next attempt.
The recall platform banks the haul, grants the contract reward, and awards Renown when appropriate.
The campaign has eight authored routes per realm. Mission difficulty uses twelve shared world tiers, so several routes can share a tier while emphasizing different layouts and resources.
Bioluminescent forests, old-growth ruins, fungi, salvage, and vertical routes. No realm-wide combat affix.
Crystal caves, frozen chasms, ossuaries, and wraithwood. Frenzied enemies move and attack faster.
An ancient futuristic temple realm of blue rock, marble, gold, luminous machinery, and unstable rifts. Enemies are armored and can explode on death.
The first two Mirakam routes are available at the start. Researching the survey reveals its preparation and survey routes.
The Verdant Reach cache contract enables Kazem Charts research. The Sepulchral Citadel cache enables Impinem Charts. Researching the chart—not the boss kill by itself—unlocks the next realm.
The older collection of small stations has been consolidated into four animated camp buildings. Every recipe and progression function now belongs to one of them.
Refining + equipment assembly. Smelt ores, distill fuel, build weapon frames and gun cores, and assemble Stella's chassis.
Alchemy + medicine + cooking. Brew potions and turn herbs and expedition resources into bandages, food, and drinks.
Build: 75 Gold, 3 TitanSteel Ingots, 2 Dewleaf.
Specialized equipment. Create gun enchantments, scaling trinkets, and realm runes.
Research + character development + cartography. Train attributes, conduct research, and create charts that open later realms.
Build: 150 Gold, 2 TitanSteel Ingots, 4 RuneOre.
Your character reaches level 30 through Renown earned from objectives and extraction. Combat kills are threats to manage, not an unlimited experience farm.
Each level requires 100 + 50 × (current level − 1) Renown. Every third level awards one perk point and presents three available perks.
Maximum health.
Maximum shield.
Weapon damage.
Fire rate.
Movement and jumps.
Health regeneration.
Critical-hit chance.
| Perk | Effect | Perk | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fortified Frame | +50 health | Shield Relay | +50 shield |
| Executioner | +25% critical damage | Field Medic | +2 health recovery |
| Hardened | +2 flat damage reduction | Sharpshooter | +5% critical chance |
| Overcharge | +8 damage | Warded | +1 shield recovery |
| Survivor | +25 health, +1 recovery | Precision Core | +10% critical damage, +3% critical chance |
Your loadout has five finite equipment slots: weapon frame, gun core, gun enchantment, trinket, and rune. Frames define the firing pattern; modules shape how it performs.
+6 damage.
−0.05 second cooldown.
+1 projectile and wider cone; each deals 22% less.
+18 damage; Realm III technology.
+8 damage and −0.04 second cooldown.
Adds homing behavior.
×1.22 projectile damage and +1 pierce.

Wayfarer I–III: scaling health and health regeneration.
Stella is assembled at Forgeworks, then advanced through route-gated research. Her silhouette, base palette, and size stay consistent; upgrade layers, glow, particles, abilities, and behavior show her growth.
She hovers around a shoulder anchor, leans into combat, catches up after dashes, investigates points of interest, and reforms beside you if left far behind.

Assign consumables or Stella ability charges to the configurable 10-slot hotbar. All field consumables share a 3-second use cooldown, so positioning still matters.

Enemy loot, route rewards, recipes, and equipment progression use one material ladder. Higher routes introduce the next ore instead of invalidating every earlier resource.

There are 48 named herbs in six bands of eight. The band rises roughly every two world tiers. Small foliage supplies herbs; full trees are permanent scenery and do not drop loot. Tier-matched enemies can also help fill shortages.
Dewleaf, Bramblewort, Sunpetal, Marshmint, Thornbud, Cloverroot, Mossbloom, Wildsage
Emberblossom, Frostfern, Gloomcap, Silkbark, Witchgrass, Duskthistle, Hollowreed, Ravenroot
Mananettle, Azurevine, Spellmoss, Glimmerleaf, Runeblossom, Tidalbloom, Whisperfern, Stardust Lichen
Wraithvine, Shadowbloom, Nightshade Lotus, Soulpetal, Phantomroot, Hexbramble, Voidcap, Dreamthistle

Bloodbloom, Dragon's Breath, Crimson Lotus, Heartsbane, Infernal Myrrh, Phoenix Petal, Wyrmroot, Eternal Blossom
Enemy health, damage, speed, loot, and elite chance scale from mission world tier. Realm rules add identity on top of that shared progression.
Fungus Sprouts, Brutes, Spitters, bats, green copters, and forest threats establish the baseline. Learn spacing, vertical attacks, and when to commit to a detour.
Mystic Fighters, Scouts, Sorcerers, elves, clouds, and robotic threats are frenzied: faster movement and attack pace.
Zombie Juggernauts, Mummy Rogues, Mummy Mages, Lava Golems, spheres, skulls, and temple guardians are armored; many create an explosive death burst.
Gold-tinted elites can roll per spawn. They carry more health, damage, and speed, but improve loot. Treat the tint as a warning before entering a cramped fight.
The Verdant Reach guardian, Sepulchral Citadel guardian, and Impinem Apex Clone Boss use authored encounters rather than random elite or normal realm-affix rules. Their cache contracts enable the next cartography research step.
Prompts adapt to keyboard or controller. Inputs can be remapped, and settings separate display, comfort, and detailed audio control.
